Mechanical Design Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team as a contractor on an hourly basis.
Our company specializes in safety-critical devices and works closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop creative mechanical engineering solutions, applying advanced knowledge of design skills and methods.
- Hold a broad knowledge of mechanical development tools and contribute to the architecture of mechanical designs.
- Lead oneself and prioritize work activities, demonstrating pragmatic problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner, being an active listener.
- Maintain accurate design documentation and be a team player.
- Deploy objective analysis techniques to evaluate concepts and design solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks and designing parts for various manufacturing processes.
- Track record designing products integrating electronics and complex electromechanical interfaces.
- Advantageous: FEA/CFD expertise and medical device design experience.
