We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of critical infrastructure projects across Australia. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile data centre projects and mission-critical infrastructure for leading technology clients.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement mechanical designs for critical infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with national and international clients, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions that ensure operational continuity.
- Contribute to shaping the mechanical engineering capability within the data centre sector and mentor junior engineers.
- Mechanical engineer with 10+ years of experience in the building services industry, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated success in leading project teams, engaging with clients, and delivering strategic outcomes across multidisciplinary environments.
- Experience in HVAC design and delivery, with a focus on resilient, efficient mechanical systems for mission-critical environments.
- Opportunity to work on high-value, future-focused projects involving advanced mechanical systems and critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate across a multidisciplinary environment with strong national and international client networks.
- Proficient in managing competing priorities, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold professional registration and understand obligations as a senior design practitioner under relevant state legislation.
