Senior Operations Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead hotel operations overnight as Duty Manager and represent senior leadership in their absence.
  • Ensure operational excellence, deliver exceptional guest service, and promote ALL membership benefits.
  • Manage late arrivals, early departures, and guest inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Conduct nightly audits and prepare detailed operational reports.
  • Support and lead the night team to maintain high standards of customer care.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and ensure every guest feels welcome, safe, and valued.
  • Monitor cleanliness and presentation of public areas overnight and liaise with other departments for continuity across shifts.
Required Qualifications:

This role requires a seasoned and confident individual who can deliver results-oriented leadership in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to diplomatically manage challenging situations.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a front office leadership role within a hotel environment, preferably in a premium setting.
  • Previous experience in Night Audit and/or Front Office Supervisor roles is highly regarded.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, strong cultural awareness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this position.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Excel and Opera Cloud experience.
  • Required certifications/certificates/licenses: RP Badge, SA RSA, First Aid & CPR, National Police Check, and clearance to work with vulnerable people.
  • Current and valid Full AU Driver Licence.
  • Full-time Australian working rights.
