Job Overview:

The Accounts Payable Officer plays a pivotal role in the financial management of our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring timely payments to creditors, vendors, and staff, as well as managing accounts payable processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Responsible for processing invoices, payment vouchers, and other documents related to accounts payable
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and creditors to ensure smooth transactions
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure timely payments and minimize late fees
  • Payment Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of payments made to vendors, suppliers, and creditors
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work accurately under pressure, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
