">Cash Flow Management Specialist

About the Role:
The Cash Flow Management Specialist plays a critical role in the company's financial operations. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to third-party suppliers, staff expenses, and company invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ">
  • Process invoices for payment on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with managers and coordinators from other departments to handle documentation related to purchases.
  • Prepare payments (EFT, BPAY & Foreign Currency) on a weekly basis for third-party suppliers and staff expense claims.
  • Prepare intercompany payments on a monthly basis as well as the AP Ledger.
  • Process manual journals for reclassification and month-end accrual entries.
  • Enter data from invoices into SAP.
  • Perform all vendor reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure that payments are correctly authorized and properly coded.
  • Process retail cash float reconciliation on a timely basis.
  • Process urgent payment requests (including foreign currency transactions).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • ">
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable in a high-volume environment.
  • EFT payment experience.
  • Experience with high-volume staff expense payment and validation according to company policy.
  • Experience with accruals and reconciliations.
  • Basic understanding of debits and credits as well as General Ledger accounting codes.
  • SAP and strong Excel skills are highly desirable.
