Secure Foundations for Young Minds

We are seeking an experienced Early Learning Educator to join our team at CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay. As a Child Care Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the early years of our children's lives, providing a secure and nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.

About the Role:

  • Assist the Director/Teacher and team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 3–5 in a community preschool setting.
  • Implement and evaluate a preschool program tailored to the needs of each child, promoting learning through play.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and compliant environment that meets regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma Qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (50% completed towards ECT degree)
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance
  • Completed CHCPRT025 – Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certification
  • Knowledge of National Regulations and Quality Framework

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
