Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Manager to oversee the construction of high-end resort facilities at our new over-50s lifestyle resort. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing commercial builds, particularly in resort, hospitality or community-style developments.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple resort commercial structures, managing project delivery within timeframes, budget, and safety regulations, supervising day-to-day site activity and providing leadership to all trades, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure high standards of quality, and collaborating with the residential site team to ensure shared success.

  • Oversee the construction of multiple resort commercial structures

  • Manage project delivery within timeframes, budget, and safety regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial builds (ideally within resort, hospitality or community-style developments)

  • QBCC Open Builders Licence (or relevant qualification)

  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, timelines and compliance

  • Proven experience managing trades, suppliers and site crews

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Confident decision-maker with strong leadership qualities

  • Familiarity with construction software (e.g. Onsite Companion or similar)
