Human Resources Partner in Aged Care

Overview of the Position

The Human Resources Partner plays a crucial role within a dedicated team that ensures the effective and precise delivery of HR services to Arcare Aged Care and its employees throughout their employment journey. You will foster and maintain constructive professional relationships with Arcare Managers and the executive leadership team, offering guidance and operational expertise on all aspects of human resource management to align with Arcare's HR strategy. This role may require travel to various locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Partner, your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with relevant industrial relations, enterprise bargaining agreements, equal employment opportunity, occupational health and safety, and training requirements Supporting the National Industrial Relations/Employee Relations Lead in daily HR operations Providing assistance and advice on workforce planning and change management, including special projects Facilitating training on employee relations issues and Arcare initiatives as necessary Serving as the primary contact for managers and employees regarding employee relations matters, offering direct support in workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations Advising and coaching Residence Managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes as needed Being adaptable to travel to various locations when required Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management are preferred Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within the Aged Care sector, is advantageous Knowledge and experience in industrial relations and employee relations Familiarity with employment law and related areas such as equal opportunity and workplace safety Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to cultivate effective working relationships across all levels of the organization High level of confidentiality, empathy, and integrity Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Attention to detail and experience in performance management, recruitment, and HR administration Proficiency in relevant software applications, including the Microsoft Office suite Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain) and Statutory Declaration Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
