Our mission is to design and deliver a world-class metro system for Sydney, connecting people, places, and opportunities. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Manager Engineering.

The role will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on engineering projects, ensuring that they meet customer and transport product requirements. This includes developing effective resolutions to identified civil/structural engineering technical issues, ensuring project designs and delivery meet specifications and standards, and providing assistance and coaching to the team.

Key qualifications include tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, good understanding of engineering delivery of civil/structural engineering designs, and experience in managing engineering design and assurance within the context of rail infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage various parts of the business to uplift their understanding of asset management, digital engineering, and standards compliance.

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering.
  • Good understanding of engineering delivery of civil/structural engineering designs for major rail infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in managing engineering design and assurance within the context of rail infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to meet Level 1 (minimum) competency in accordance with the Sydney Metro Competency Management system.
