Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Job Description:This is a full-time, on-site position that requires attendance in the office five days a week. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll functions for all employees, including processing timesheets, leave, terminations, and new starters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pay runs (e.g., weekly), calculating and processing superannuation, PAYG tax, and other deductions. They will also maintain accurate client records, case notes, and data while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Fair Work Act, ATO requirements, and industrial instruments.
In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions, generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders, and maintain accurate employee payroll records in the payroll/HRIS system.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll functions, including processing timesheets, leave, terminations, and new starters.
- Ensure accurate and timely pay runs (e.g., weekly).

- Maintain accurate employee payroll records in the payroll/HRIS system.
- A minimum of three years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in a not-for-profit or community-controlled organization.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and payroll tax obligations.
- High attention to detail and strong data management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
