Job Title: Community Occupational Therapist

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at HealthcareLink, where we provide a range of community-based, allied health services to people of all ages and abilities.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based services to individuals through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities
  • Work within the NDIS to maximise clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement
  • Assist clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications
  • Timely documentation and report writing
  • Manage a varied caseload
  • Meet company professional expectations, including meeting billables and effective client management
  • Attend meetings, supervision, and personal development as required
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources
  • Work across leading software platforms and online tools
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
  • Police Check and International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car insurance
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
  • First Aid (optional)
