Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Driver with a Stores/Warehousing background to join our growing team in Hervey Bay. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods and products to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Trucks: Safely load and unload trucks in a timely manner, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Delivery of Goods: Deliver goods and products to customer sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintaining Vehicle and Warehouse: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times, as well as a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Order Preparation and Fulfillment: Prepare and complete orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring attention to detail and quality.
- Pick and Pack Products: Pick and pack products for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stocktaking and Reconciliation: Assist with stocktaking and reconciliation, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a mix of driving and stores experience.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, coupled with customer contact experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current and uninhibited Medium Rigid (MR) Licence, with Forklift License desirable.
