Strategic Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic operational direction to ensure the efficient movement of domestic and international products within the region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and streamline operations.
  • Oversee the management of all removals, including international relocations, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of consignments.
  • Arrange logistics for day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient uplift and delivery of consignments.
  • Liaise with customers and employees to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance of contract carriers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage container demurrage costs to optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the claims department to resolve customer complaints efficiently.
  • Administer clerical functions related to the operations department.
