Direct Report: ANZ Transportation Supervisor

Job Location: North Sydney / Silverwater / Kemps Creek, Sydney

Nice to know:

As a key member of our logistics team, you will oversee transportation flows, evaluating processes and systems to identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement. You will develop and implement innovative solutions to guarantee compliance and service level while ensuring data accuracy and security.

  • Capture logistics and service needs and requirements of EssilorLuxottica business groups across ANZ and Asia Pacific;
  • Monitor transport strategic service providers performance review and follow-up with continuous improvement plans, root-cause-analysis and corrective/preventive actions;
  • Coordinate escalations to APAC transportation team and carriers management to ensure issues are being addressed promptly;
  • Ensure best-in-class delivery performance from service providers within entire logistics network;
  • Support creation and receipt of Inbound/Outbound deliveries, booking of Outbound freight with Freight providers, creation of commercial documentation as required by international shipping;
  • Prepare and analyze transport supplier invoices, review and submission of transport invoices to Accounts Payable departments for approval, maintenance and tracking of transport cost;
  • Provide project support in key supply chain projects to boost service, speed and cost efficiency across EssilorLuxottica channels.

Must have:

- Ability to work independently and deploy detailed action plans from general objectives;
- Working knowledge of import/export procedures & customs requirements
- Ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Time management, organizational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite;
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly analytical, KPI driven and robust strategic mindset;
- He/she will be based in Sydney and travels inside the Region might be required;
