Job Title: Support Worker

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living tasks, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with household chores and grocery shopping, ensuring their homes remain safe and clean.
  • Support clients with medication management and attend medical appointments, helping them stay on top of their health.
  • Accompany clients on holidays, fishing trips, camping excursions, and beach activities, fostering meaningful connections and creating lasting memories.
  • Facilitate social inclusion and community access, empowering clients to engage with their communities and build relationships.
  • Encourage fitness and wellbeing activities, promoting physical and mental health.
  • Develop independent living skills, equipping clients with the tools they need to thrive.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
  • Provide personal care, demonstrating empathy and compassion in every interaction.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Blue Card for Working with Children and an NDIS Worker Screening check. You should also hold a driver's licence and own a vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Additionally, you will require completion of NDIS E-Learning modules and have a smartphone with internet access.
