About the RoleThe Retail Commercial Manager is a key position that requires a strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to foster strategic partnerships to optimise the product range and deliver on commercial objectives.
Job DescriptionThis dynamic role involves managing the Retail Supermarket Channel to support the delivery of the Retail Annual and 3Y Strategic Meat Category Plan. You will continuously improve the existing product range and identify profit and revenue rate improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will lead and manage Greenstock's retail product development and innovation projects through cross-functional teams.
You will collaborate with Greenstock Sourcing and Operations Teams, and the wider Woolworths Group, providing insights into the Greenstock value chain and recommending opportunities to improve overall returns. This includes project managing the scoping, feasibility, product development, and execution phases to drive end-to-end value creation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Retail Supermarket Channel to support the delivery of the Retail Annual and 3Y Strategic Meat Category Plan

To succeed in this role, you will require strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to foster strategic partnerships. Your experience in Retail Key Account Management, finance, commercial retail, or manufacturing backgrounds would be ideal. Additionally, you should have a Bachelor degree in Food Science, Business, Commerce, or equivalent industry experience.
Requirements:- Bachelor degree in Food Science, Business, Commerce, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in Retail Key Account Management (finance, commercial retail, manufacturing backgrounds ideal)
- Experience in the red meat or other protein categories
- Experience with delivering project outcomes, task-switching to ensure prioritisation of deliverables
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management; able to bring key stakeholders along the journey and influence for best results
This attractive remuneration package includes an estimated salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per year, depending on your experience.
