The Role:

This full-time permanent opportunity exists for an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join Andrews Meat Industries in Lidcombe, NSW. You will be responsible for coordinating transport movements, ensuring effective communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics operations to meet customer needs
  • Manage daily operational problems, including resolving issues with missing boxes or unexpected challenges
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery routes
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring safe loading of products
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
  • Manage domestic and regional freight invoicing
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks
  • Participate in compliance audits and Chain of Responsibility reviews
  • Lead a team of delivery drivers, providing training and supporting recruitment as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • Hold a current MR NSW Driver's License
  • Proven experience in supervision or management, with excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • Experience in transport/logistics and fleet management
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation
