Andrews Meat Industries, a leading food service meat supplier, seeks a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join their team. With a strong presence in the hospitality industry, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that sets the standard in the meat industry.

About Your New Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products meets customer and legal requirements. This includes monitoring CCP and CP tasks, maintaining operational hygiene, and conducting regular product checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and corrective actions
  • Maintain high standards of operational hygiene
  • Conduct regular product inspections
  • Ensure accurate identification and traceability of products
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Assist with staff training and development

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • At least one year of experience in food manufacturing
