Claims Service Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Service Officer to join our busy call centre team.

This role will see you as the first point of contact in delivering a fantastic member service experience together with:

- Managing inbound and outbound calls providing excellent member experience
- Interpreting policy wording and conditions to determine the validity of claims.
- Processing claims to achieve successful claim outcomes for our members
- Ensuring compliance with relevant government legislation codes, and company policies.
- Achieving set KPI's and quality targets consistently

To succeed in this role, you will need strong organisational skills, the ability to understand complex processes, and your willingness and capability to have difficult discussions.

You will also be a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high-performing culture. You're passionate about helping our community and want to make a difference.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Insurance industry will be highly regarded
  • Call centre experience will also be highly regarded
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to show empathy to customers who have suffered loss; and
  • A positive can-do attitude and great team worker
