Providing Compassionate Care

As an enrolled nurse, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility is to provide optimal care for all patients, their families and significant others.
You will work closely with the healthcare team, including medical practitioners and allied health practitioners, to develop and implement care plans that cater to individual patient needs.
The Key Responsibilities- Function within legal and registration constraints relevant to enrolled nursing practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain and develop clinical skills required to deliver holistic patient care.
- Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Monitor patient progress and escalate any changes or concerns to a registered nurse or manager.
- Provide patient education and participate in discharge planning as required.
- Accurately document patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an enrolled nurse and at least 12 months recent acute experience in general medical and/or surgical nursing roles.
