Internal Communications Professional

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal communications and be able to develop and implement effective communication strategies that drive employee engagement and experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to lead our employee experience and engagement initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing communication strategies and tactics that improve employee engagement and EVP across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing targeted communications and change activities for a wide range of employee audiences, including executive communications.
  • Partnering with leadership teams to collaborate and support their efforts to deliver enterprise-wide solutions and initiatives.
  • Owning specific initiatives, including Board and Executive presentations, leadership, and employee newsletters, as well as key employee lifecycle activity messages.
  • Developing and delivering effective communications that contribute to cultural and business success aligned to strategic business priorities and initiatives.
  • Maintaining communication channels, style guides, templates, and representing a tone of voice that delivers on the desired culture and ensuring alignment of internal and external messaging.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives through the delivery of effective change and communication plans in partnership with senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant formal qualifications, preferably in communications, journalism, or marketing.
  • Exemplary writing and communications skills.
  • At least 5+ years' experience in corporate communications, with specific experience in executive communications and engagement.
  • Expertise in presentation software, with a high level of creative flair.
  • Natural ability to influence at senior executive levels with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing effective organisation-wide internal communications and employee engagement programs.
  • Project management skills with the ability to multitask, working under pressure, achieving agreed outcomes, and managing resources effectively.
