Job Title: Containerisation Expert

Summary:
  • Lead the deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management of container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes and related tools.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • Manage and secure Linux-based environments with a focus on RedHat Enterprise Linux.
  • Implement and maintain container tools such as Harbor, Docker-Compose and Docker CLI.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across containerised workloads.
  • Collaborate with network, storage and security teams to support enterprise-grade data centre infrastructure.
  • Advocate for DevOps and container best practices contributing to continuous improvement and platform stability.

Key Responsibilities include Lead and Support Container Platform Deployment, Monitoring and Lifecycle Management, Design and Maintain Infrastructure Automation, Manage and Secure Linux-based Environments, Implement and Maintain Container Tools and Write and Maintain Automation Scripts.

The ideal candidate will have Strong recent experience in on-premise infrastructure environments, Extensive hands-on experience with RedHat Linux systems, Deep expertise in containerisation and orchestration particularly Docker and Kubernetes, Proven skills in automation and configuration management using Ansible and Ansible Tower, Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash, Solid grasp of networking fundamentals TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC, IP packets, DNS etc, Understanding of data centre technologies including storage, switching and virtualisation, Strong ownership analytical thinking and a structured problem-solving mindset, Solid foundation in system administration security and DevOps practices and Must be an Australian citizen.

Additional Nice to Have qualifications include Familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace Forgerock or Elastic/Kibana and Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure container practices.
