Position: DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer to join our team on a 6-month internship contract. In this role, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services

- Automate deployment and scaling of applications using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes

- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues and performance

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and secure code deployment

- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud-based systems

- Continuously improve processes and procedures for efficient and reliable deployment and management of applications

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cloud technologies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

- Understanding of networking principles and protocols

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
