Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Devops Infrastructure Specialist to support the Joint Cyberspace of our client. The successful candidate will play a critical part in sustaining and enhancing Australia's cyber defence capabilities, ensuring the ADF has access to resilient, secure, and agile information warfare systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery and support of client services through SAFe development cycles.
  • Execute, monitor, and maintain the client's software and hardware suite.
  • Build, configure, and manage infrastructure components in DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Support and troubleshoot Tier 3 operational issues across virtualised and containerised environments.
  • Produce high-quality documentation (SOPs, HLD, DLD, SAD, SOD).
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Linux OS automation and administration, hands-on experience with IT automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef), proficiency with containerisation & orchestration (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo). Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and virtualised platforms, excellent communication and collaboration skills is also essential.
