This site-based role focuses on safety, compliance, and quality across civil and cable hauling activities. You will supervise multi-disciplinary trade crews, authorise excavation works, monitor progress, and ensure safe operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate site planning to align construction with plans and schedules.
- Lead subcontractors in executing approved site works.
- Conduct regular compliance checks.
- Maintain equipment per safety standards.
- Prepare for construction reviews.
- Rectify construction defects promptly and ensure quality standards are met.
- Liaise with engineers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Perform daily site checks including permits, audits, and traffic management.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
- Promote innovative solutions that improve project outcomes and profitability.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
- Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in site supervision and effective subcontractor management.
- Experience in a similar field-based role is highly regarded.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
