Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Shepparton, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Delivery: Ensure customers receive exceptional care, creating memorable experiences that drive repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
  • Sales Performance: Utilize product expertise and effective selling techniques to achieve daily and weekly sales targets, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Accurately complete sales order paperwork and internal documentation, ensuring timely order processing and minimizing delays.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Leverage skills and product knowledge to maximize sales opportunities, including room solutions and add-on sales.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the Showroom Manager to maintain showroom standards, including visual merchandising and pricing accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prior Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the furniture industry or high-value goods such as jewelry, cars, bedding, or luxury items.
  • Positive Attitude and Enthusiasm: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, particularly during busy periods, and remain focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Showcase the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive training, performance-based bonuses, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
