Production Supervisor

A cutting-edge circular economy facility in Ipswich City is seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at the new site. Reporting to the Implementation Manager, this is a 2-year max-term full-time role.

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing machine operators, volunteers and production schedules. You'll manage equipment operation, coordinate workflow, and optimise inventory and output in a high-tech environment while supporting Australia's move toward a sustainability future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of operators and volunteers across daily production
  • Operate and maintain specialised textile sorting and processing equipment
  • Align production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory targets
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure software integration runs smoothly
  • Drive a safety-first, high-performance culture
About The Role

You will bring:

  • Operations leadership experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong technical maintenance knowledge (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
  • Proven ability to lead people and drive process improvement.
  • Confidence with IT systems and production software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
