Production Supervisor

As a senior team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing a team of up to 15 direct reports and making key decisions to meet production targets.

  • Leading and managing the production team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Managing costs to ensure that production is delivered in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Allocating resources and staff to effectively manage operations and meet production demands.

About You: As a seasoned leader with experience in heavy industry or manufacturing, you possess a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are highly skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and people management.

  • A proven track record of supervising or managing large teams in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Leadership and frontline management experience.
  • High-level problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution and people management.
  • Experience in implementing lean systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of safety management systems and building a safety culture.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and customer order systems or production systems.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
