Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to lead our Human Resources function across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with Regional and Local Brand Leaders, Store Managers, and the Corporate Team to provide strategic and operational HR support to retail and head office functions.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage employee relations issues end-to-end, including performance management, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters; ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and internal HR policies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment activities for both retail and corporate roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline and brand alignment.
  • Performance & Development: Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, and development planning; identify training and development needs.
  • HR Operations: Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday); lead one direct report – HR & Talent Officer.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment (retail or luxury fashion preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and the General Retail Industry Award.
  • Experience in New Zealand employment law is highly desirable.
