The Role: Learning & Development Advisor

This position will assist in identifying, developing and implementing learning and development project deliverables. We require someone who can coordinate and manage training programs to ensure employees have access to learning and development opportunities required to deliver a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage training programs in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide effective learning solutions.
  • Administer day-to-day learning and development activities.
  • Plan and coordinate major projects as determined by senior management.
  • Delve into continuous quality improvement processes across the learning cycle using best practice quality management systems.

Requirements

A relevant tertiary qualification in learning and development, education or a related field is highly desirable. Alternatively, proven experience in developing and delivering learning and development programs is essential.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of learning trends, best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to contribute to achieving team goals.
