We're seeking an energetic and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Next Hotel Melbourne. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their stay is nothing short of outstanding.

The Role
You'll play a crucial role in creating unforgettable guest experiences by providing warm welcomes, anticipating and accommodating guest needs, and making personalized recommendations. Your excellent communication skills will ensure that incoming calls are handled promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Warm Welcome: Greet guests with enthusiasm, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in/check-out experience.
- Guest Needs: Anticipate and accommodate guest requests, make personalized recommendations, and upsell rooms and services.
- Communication: Handle incoming calls promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Guest Profiles: Maintain and update guest profiles in our property management system to enhance future stays.
- Flexibility: Work across various front office departments, gaining new skills and supporting team operations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent in an upscale hotel environment.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a 24-hour rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with hotel property management systems.
- Guest-Centric Attitude: A passion for creating memorable experiences and building genuine connections with guests.
