Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team.

As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engines and equipment.

  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Perform repairs and replacements as needed to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our Field Service Manager to prioritize work scopes and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our equipment and services remain competitive.
  • Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence in our work.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial/marine engines.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and specialized software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
