Job Overview

Maintenance professionals are essential to the smooth operation of our facilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns and providing feedback for future enhancements.
  • Prioritize equipment availability for internal customers.
  • Learn from and collaborate with senior maintenance technicians.

A Day in the Role:

This position involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks on-site, allowing for quick responses to machinery issues. You will also investigate, find solutions to, and implement fixes for breakdowns, suggesting long-term improvements.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team ensures our equipment operates at peak performance. We are a technically-minded team made up of excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network.

Key Qualifications:

  • Formal trade qualification: completed an apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, certified to a minimum of certificate 3.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
  • Experience working according to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with computer maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with sortation machines.
  • Experience maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
