The Water Management Professional will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of integrated water management, with an emphasis on creating better futures for Australian waterways.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction on projects related to integrated water and natural resource management, including business cases, environmental assessments, design development, and strategic planning services.

- Lead the delivery of complex water management projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Manage and grow client relationships, with a focus on key stakeholders across NSW.
- Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Take the lead in business development activities, preparing proposals and presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop proposals and presentations, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and developing solutions that meet their requirements.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, engineering, management).
- Proven experience in project management, business development, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of integrated water management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
