Water Resources Expert Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Expert to join our team. As a Water Resources Expert, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in meeting their engineering challenges and better understanding their risk.

Our Water Resources Team provides exceptional service and innovative best-value solutions for clients in the energy, environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing fieldwork programs including drilling supervision and geotechnical logging, soil testing and sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, and groundwater well installation and hydraulic testing.
  • Critical analysis and assessment of groundwater and geological related data.
  • Geospatial and 3D analysis – including GIS and Leapfrog (3D modelling).
  • Conceptual assessment of groundwater flow, fate and transport.
  • Quantitative groundwater assessments of flow, fate and transport using analytical as well as 2D and 3D numerical modelling tools – SEEPW, HYDRUS, MODFLOW, GoldSim.

You will work closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in geology/earth science/geochemistry/hydrology or engineering or related field of study, and at least 2 years of direct consulting experience. A post-graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology is highly preferred.
