About the Position
Australind Senior High School is seeking a passionate and innovative English teacher to join our team. As a dedicated educator, you will be responsible for teaching English courses to students from Year 7-12.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and deliver lessons to classes in both Lower and Senior School
- Create and design face-to-face lessons with clear learning objectives and outcomes
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Evaluate and monitor student learning and course progress
- Play a role in student consultations, assessment grading, and moderation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
- Experience in teaching English courses to students from Year 7-12
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A willingness to continuously improve your practice and stay up-to-date with curriculum developments
