Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a qualified Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to students with complex needs, working with schools to develop strategies to improve student engagement and behaviour, and collaborating with other professionals to provide a comprehensive support service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualised support to students with complex needs
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve student engagement and behaviour
- Collaborating with other professionals to provide a comprehensive support service
- Working with schools to develop and implement behaviour support plans
- Providing training and professional development opportunities for teachers and other school staff
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher or allied health professional with experience working with students with complex needs
- Strong knowledge of behaviour support principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
