Role Overview

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a Specialist Teacher in Languages – Japanese to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed term, part-time 0.4 FTE position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.

About the Role

As a Specialist Teacher in Languages – Japanese, you will work collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs, and for contributing to the development of our school's curriculum and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the Western Australian Curriculum Framework
  • Experience in teaching Languages – Japanese
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
