Role Overview
The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a Specialist Teacher in Languages – Japanese to join our team. This is a 12-month fixed term, part-time 0.4 FTE position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.
About the Role
As a Specialist Teacher in Languages – Japanese, you will work collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs, and for contributing to the development of our school's curriculum and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Languages – Japanese
- Contribute to the development of our school's curriculum and policies

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and the Western Australian Curriculum Framework
- Experience in teaching Languages – Japanese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
