Job Title

Role Overview

The Premiums and Cost Recovery Team is a specialized group within the organization, responsible for calculating and communicating annual workers' compensation premiums for employers. Their tasks include developing and delivering performance reporting and analysis for claims and liability outcomes, as well as managing the cost recovery process.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar role is essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance are necessary.
  • Experience in Government or insurance sectors is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert advice will be provided based on sound analysis of financial and non-financial information.
  • Contributions to Financial and Annual reports are expected.
  • Assistance with annual updates of Cost Recovery Implementation Statements is required.
  • Understanding and application of cost recovery framework and accounting disclosures related to valuation are crucial.

Skill Set

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
