This is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients through proactive maintenance and inspections of material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive servicing and repair services for material handling equipment across assigned territories and customer bases to foster strong client relationships.
- Utilize cutting-edge mobile technology to efficiently manage daily work schedules and ensure seamless operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, complete service work, and maintain accurate records to deliver high-quality service experiences.
- Assist in preparing detailed quotes for customers based on job completion data.
- Record key notes and file service records effectively to provide premium customer support.
- Access industry-leading training programs and development opportunities, including potential mentorship roles for junior technicians in complex service and repair tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, encompassing emerging technologies in automation and telematics.
- Collaborate closely with the organization to maximize additional sales and service opportunities within dedicated customer bases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly valued but not mandatory.
- Able to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs with ease.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
