Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical technician to join our team at our Ti Tree Bioenergy facility. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all of the equipment within the power station.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a heavy industrial environment, as well as the chance to develop your skills through on-the-job training and upskilling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, service, maintain, and repair plants and equipment within the power station in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete scheduled daily work tasks and complete work orders as directed by the Gas To Energy Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist with planning scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal plant performance.
  • Monitor and report on the status and condition of plants and systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Record, maintain stock and parts levels, and advise any discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory management.
Requirements
  • Trade-qualified light/heavy vehicle or mechanical fitter with a strong background in heavy industrial gas-fired engines.
  • Previous experience working with type B equipment desirable but not essential.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
