Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

This is a permanent role that requires qualifying period. The position involves working in a field-based environment with great compensation.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of technician/client interaction, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and carrying out crane and hoist servicing, repairs, breakdowns, call outs, and fault finding, installation, commissioning, and testing works.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Contribute to an environment of ongoing improvement.
- Perform crane maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Inspect and assemble crane components for cleaning, inspection, fault finding, replacement, or repair.
- Install new equipment and test its functionality.
- Verify work quality performed by self.
- Maintain tools and equipment for efficient and safe operation.
- Identify unsafe processes, practices, and conditions; assist the area manager to resolve these issues.
- Ensure all work processes meet specified requirements.
- Follow safe work methods and maintain a clean workspace.
- Report non-conformances and opportunities for improvement to the area manager.
- Understanding of assembling, modifying, and repairing industrial equipment.
- Able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Australian Trade Certificate.
- C-Class Drivers License (unrestricted).
- Prior field experience.
- Mobile crane experience (preferable).
