Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional service through a diverse range of brands, catering to various market segments from luxury to budget-friendly options.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to become a vital part of our finance division. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Accounting and/or Finance, along with CPA or CA accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive workpapers and calculations for Income Tax and FBT Annual returns for the consolidated group.
  • Support the Group Reporting Manager during external audits and reviews on a semi-annual basis, including the preparation and organization of necessary audit reconciliations and reports.
  • Generate daily cash flow reports comparing actuals against forecasts.
  • Compile monthly management report packages, which include consolidated group balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, accounts receivable, and other relevant reports for executive management.
  • Maintain and reconcile consolidated group Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) and Intangible Fixed Asset movement schedules with the General Ledger and registers on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of FBT expense registers and Income Tax registers for the consolidated group monthly.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Process end-of-month accruals.
  • Perform intercompany loan reconciliations.
  • Manage foreign exchange entries and reconcile foreign entity loans.
  • Provide guidance and support to finance department shared services staff.
  • Execute ad hoc reporting and project tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in accounting or finance, with CPA or CA qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years of commercial accounting experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to foster relationships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong desire to learn.
  • Experience with Dynamics GP is advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
