Financial Reporting Expert

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Financial Reporting Expert to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree in Accounting and/or Finance, and possess CPA/CA accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare workpapers and calculations for Income Tax and FBT Annual returns for the consolidated group.
  • Assist the Group Reporting Manager with external audit and reviews on a half-yearly basis, including the preparation/collation of relevant audit reconciliations and reports.
  • Prepare daily cashflow reports, both actuals and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management report packs, including consolidated group balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cashflow statements, accounts receivable, and other reports for executive/management.
  • Reconcile consolidated group PPE and Intangible Fixed Asset movement schedules to the General Ledger and registers on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and maintain FBT expense registers and Income tax registers for the consolidated group on a monthly basis.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Process end-of-month accruals.
  • Intercompany loan reconciliations.
  • Foreign exchange entries and reconciliation of foreign entity loans.
  • Provide guidance to finance department shared services staff.
  • Ad hoc reporting and project tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in accounting or finance, with CPA or CA qualification.
  • Minimum of 4 years commercial accounting experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience being proactive, along with the ability to build relationships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong desire to learn.
  • Experience using Dynamics GP an advantage.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
