Financial Management Specialist

We are currently in search of a dedicated and meticulous Management Accountant to enhance our finance division. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a CPA or CA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare workpapers and calculations for Income Tax and FBT Annual returns for the consolidated group.
  • Support the Group Reporting Manager during external audits and reviews biannually, including the preparation and organization of necessary audit reconciliations and reports.
  • Generate daily cash flow reports comparing actuals versus forecasts.
  • Compile a monthly management report package, which includes the consolidated group balance sheet, profit & loss statement, cash flow analysis, accounts receivable, and other reports for executive management.
  • Maintain and reconcile consolidated group Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) and Intangible Fixed Asset movement schedules with the general ledger and registers monthly.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of FBT expense registers and Income Tax registers for the consolidated group on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Process end-of-month accruals.
  • Manage intercompany loan reconciliations.
  • Handle foreign exchange entries and reconcile foreign entity loans.
  • Provide support and guidance to finance department shared services personnel.
  • Engage in ad hoc reporting and project-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in accounting or finance, along with CPA or CA qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial accounting is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to foster relationships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Experience with Dynamics GP is advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
