As a practical, hands-on Procurement Leader, you will take ownership of procurement, supplier management, and inventory control to ensure the right materials and components are in the right place at the right time to keep our production flowing.
This is not a desk-only role – you'll be actively engaging with suppliers, managing contracts, solving on-the-floor supply issues, and supporting production teams directly.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of procurement: sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for marine and manufacturing materials.
- Ensure on-time delivery of parts and components to multiple production lines, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations across facilities, ensuring minimal delays and accurate stock levels.
- Work directly with Production and Engineering teams to anticipate material needs and prevent bottlenecks.
- Implement practical process improvements in procurement and logistics to support efficiency and quality.
- Prepare weekly/monthly KPI reporting, highlighting risks, savings, and supply chain performance.
- Drive transparency and best practices across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing procurement.
- Experienced in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and resolving delivery issues in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Proven leadership skills, able to coach and guide teams while staying engaged in daily operations.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-focused.
- Passion for marine manufacturing and delivering high-quality products.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
