About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement expert to spearhead our procurement system. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans and policies to foster favorable supplier relationships and robust supply agreements.
  • Lead a small team, developing work plans and KPIs to achieve team goals.
  • Contribute to the strategic and operational plans of the Finance department.
  • Develop a comprehensive procurement framework with associated policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on contract negotiations, supplier preferences, and service level agreements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis into procurement issues and best practices.
  • Accurately record, report, interpret, and analyze expenditure data, identifying opportunities for improvement and monitoring storage and distribution transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or other technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
