About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Leisure Operations Assistant in St Arnaud. As a key member of our recreation and leisure services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our aquatics and fitness programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members and patrons, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Program Coordination: Coordinate and implement aquatics and fitness programs, ensuring that they are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of our members.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including the pool, change rooms, and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and patrons.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A qualification in fitness, recreation, or sports management, and a pool operators course qualification.
  • Experience: Experience working in a local government or recreation and leisure services environment, with a strong understanding of pool supervision, water safety, and customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
