About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifeguard to join our team at the St Arnaud Outdoor Pool. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our patrons and providing a high-quality customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pool patrons and user groups to ensure water safety in accordance with centre policies and procedures, industry standards and practices.
  • Maintain and ensure safety standards are met in the aquatic environment at all times, including regular supervision of the pool deck and operation of water play equipment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained, including regular cleaning of the pool deck, change rooms and toilet facilities.
  • Accurately record and report all OHS incidents and customer complaints.
  • Ensure the behaviour of all customers is conducive to the provision of a safe and enjoyable leisure experience.
  • Perform maintenance of the water facilities, including water testing.
Requirements
  • RLSSA Bronze Medallion
  • Current Pool Lifeguard qualifications
  • Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recognised resuscitation certification
  • Current Level 2 first aid certification
