About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a unique and memorable JD experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a brand ambassador, encompassing all things JD from product knowledge to tailored customer service
  • Assist customers with all queries and process sales
  • Work in collaboration with the wider Management and store team to achieve KPI's and targets
  • Support wider team with ad hoc tasks, including visual merchandising, store cleanliness and presentation
  • Escalate any customer complaints to management
  • Consistently complete any mandatory training relevant to product, policy and procedure
Requirements
  • Customer service experience within retail, hospitality or a similar industry
  • Passionate about sports fashion
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
  • An ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career and learn new skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs
